The STABILOC RFID reader is a custom
designed digital handheld unit capable of read/write
communication to the chip embedded within the
access cap caps. An optional Biometric interface
makes the unit inoperable to any but the specific
authorized personnel. Please call for more information.
STABILOC® has partnered with Socket Communications
- a California based technology company. Users
of the STABILOC® locking system have the option
of implementing high frequency RFID capabilities
into the STABILOC® locking system. Combine
the power of wireless mobile data collection with
Socket's Compact Flash RFID Reader Card. This
product reads and writes to STABILOC® proprietary
13.56Mhz RFID tags embedded into the tamper evident
caps which protect the STABILOC® bolt head
from dirt and debris. The RFID enabled tags are
useful for inventory control, asset tracking,
service history, employee tracking and other security
applications.
Mobility Friendly® Means Low Power Consumption
Socket designed the Mobility Friendly CF RFID
Reader to use minimal power. Drawing only 11mA
(36mW) in idle mode, the CF RFID Reader will operate
for hours without having to recharge the batteries
in your Pocket PC.
STABILOC® Software
The Socket RFID Series 6 reader card works with
software designed by Socket Communications. A
SDK is available for customers who wish to develop
their own custom applications.
